Modules · Meeton Calendar · Step 5
Event
What lands on both calendars once a slot is confirmed: title, description, video link, reminders, and where the visitor goes next.
Event title template
Customise the calendar event title; empty, the default title is used. Template variables (the booking's name, company, calendar, host) are inserted at the cursor and filled in when the meeting is booked.
Event description template
The same for the description: your agenda, prep notes, the visitor's answers.
Video provider
Default follows the scheduling provider: Google Calendar uses Google Meet, Outlook uses Microsoft Teams, Garoon has no built-in video. Pick Google Meet, Teams, Zoom or None to always use that tool. A disconnected provider is flagged; reconnect it under Integrations.
Restrict the Meet to invitees
Anyone else, someone the link was forwarded to or a colleague you did not invite, has to ask, and someone already in the meeting lets them in. Needs Google Workspace and one extra Google permission.
Thank-you page
Where the visitor is sent after confirming. With the tag on that page,
Meeton.openCalendar({ source: "thankYouPage" }) attributes any further booking to this conversion.Reminders
Email reminders to the visitor before the meeting.
After the booking
- Invites go to the host's connected calendar and to the visitor, with the video link and your templates.
- With CRM sync on and Meeting sync enabled, the meeting is logged on the contact: a HubSpot meeting engagement, or a Salesforce Event and Task.
- Meeting booked and meeting cancelled events are available to notification rules.
- A contact who has booked is excluded from Meeton Email automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Which variables can the templates use?
The booking's name, company, calendar and host, inserted at the cursor from the template editor and filled in when the meeting is booked.
Can we use Zoom?
Yes: pick Zoom as the video provider on this step. Google Meet and Microsoft Teams follow the host's scheduling provider by default.
What goes on the thank-you page?
Anything you like. With the tag on that page, a further booking from it is attributed to this conversion through Meeton.openCalendar({ source: "thankYouPage" }).
