Sender & delivery

Who the emails come from, what the footer must show by law, and whether Meeton sends them or hands you the drafts.

Step 1 · Sender

From name
The display name shown in the From field. John from Acme.
Reply-to email
Replies from leads are directed to this address. Required.
CC emails
Up to 10 addresses CC'd on every outgoing AI email, for a manager or a shared inbox.
Legal sender identity
Displayed in the footer of every outbound email. Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Email (特定電子メール法) requires promotional emails to show the sender's legal entity name, physical address and a contact point (an email, phone number or URL). Sending cannot be enabled until these are complete.

Step 2 · Delivery

ModeHow it worksBest for
Send automatically through SMTPApproved emails go out from your own SMTP account at their scheduled time. Deliverability and the Sent folder stay with your mailbox. SMTP host (smtp.gmail.com, smtp.office365.com…), user, password and TLS setting are configured here; nothing can be sent without valid credentials.Hands-off follow-up.
Send manually from my own email clientMeeton writes the drafts and delivers them to you as a notification. You copy and send each one from your own mailbox, then mark it as sent.A human on every send, or no SMTP credentials available.
Watch out

Manual mode depends on a notification rule that delivers drafts. Turn on Email Ready to Send or Pending Email Review in a rule with at least one destination, or the drafts reach nobody. This step shows which rules currently route them.
