Team members

Who is in your workspace, what each person may change, and how new people get in: by email invitation, by asking to join, or automatically through Google sign-in on your company domain. Everything here is under Settings → Workspace → Members; the sign-in policies that apply to everyone are on Security.

The Members page

One row per person, with a header that counts active members and invited people who have not accepted yet. Everyone can open the page; only Owners and Admins see the Invite button, the pending invitations, join requests and the DynaMeet Support access card.

ColumnWhat it shows

Roles

RoleIn the product's wordsIn practice
OwnerOwner is the highest level access on the team and can manage all aspects of the team.Everything, including Plan & usage (billing), assigning the Owner role and setting an expiry on an Admin. A workspace can have several Owners; an Owner cannot be removed.
AdminAdmin can see the billing, manage team members, and make edits.Invites, roles, removals, Security & SSO, Support access and every module setting. Plan & usage is reachable by Owners only, so Admins manage people and settings rather than payment.
EditorEditor can change the settings.Chat, Ads, Library, Calendar, Email, CRM sync and notifications. Not members, security or billing. The right role for an agency.
ViewerViewer can view all pages.Read-only. A banner on settings pages says so and points to an Admin for an upgrade. The default for invitations, join requests and SSO auto-joins.

Roles are per workspace: one person can be an Owner in one and a Viewer in another. You may lower your own role, but not change your own Owner role from the dropdown. There is no transfer-ownership step; add a second Owner instead. An action your role does not allow fails with Permission denied. Your role doesn't allow this action — ask a team admin if you need access.

Inviting people

  1. Invite

Enter one or more email addresses, separated by a comma, a space or Enter, up to 50 at a time, and pick the role. Only an Owner can invite someone as Owner. Also ask them to connect a calendar takes each person straight to calendar connection after they set up, which saves a reminder later.

  2. They accept

Each person gets an email. New people set their own password first; someone who already has a DynaMeet account gets a one-click accept link. You never set or see anyone's password. Nobody is a member until they accept.

  3. Pending invitations

Listed under Invited · awaiting acceptance with Resend and Revoke. An invitation link lasts 7 days; an expired link offers the person a fresh one by email.

  • Already a member? Inviting an existing member instead offers Send sign-in link: a one-click link, valid 24 hours and usable once, that signs them in without a password. Members who sign in with Google do not get one.
  • Join requests. People from your company can ask to join. Owners and Admins see Pending join requests with Approve and Deny; an approved request joins as Viewer.
  • New workspaces on your domain. When someone at your company creates a separate workspace, the page tells you. Such workspaces bill separately, share no data with yours and cannot be merged later, so inviting the person now is cheaper than moving anything later.
  • Google auto-join. With SSO on and your company domain allow-listed, anyone with a verified email at that domain joins as Viewer on their first Google sign-in, with no invitation. See Security → Single sign-on.

Managing a member

Change role
The dropdown in the Role column. Owners and Admins; only an Owner can hand out the Owner role or change another Owner.
Remove
Row menu → Remove, after a confirmation. Owners cannot be removed. Note that while SSO is on, a removed person at an allow-listed domain can rejoin as Viewer on their next Google sign-in; take the domain off the list, or turn SSO off, if that is not wanted.
Set an expiry
Set expiry date, Edit expiry, Clear expiry. Owners have none; only an Owner can set one on an Admin.
Send sign-in link
Emails a one-click link that signs the member in without a password. For someone locked out of their password, not for Google members.
Set password
Sets a new password for the member, to be shared securely, optionally with Force password reset on next login. Not available for Owners and Admins (an Owner can set an Admin's), nor for SSO members, who have no password.
Remind to connect calendar
Emails a nudge to connect Google, Microsoft 365 or Garoon, which a host needs for Meeton Calendar.
Remind to enroll · Reset MFA
A nudge to set up MFA, or a reset that removes the member's authenticator and signs them out everywhere so they can enroll again. See Security → MFA.

Several workspaces

A person who belongs to more than one workspace picks one at sign-in, and switches later from the profile menu (Select Workspace, with a search). Each entry shows the role there. A workspace whose network restriction excludes the current network is labelled Restricted from your network. Policies such as MFA and IP restriction apply to the workspace you are in, not to the others.

Your own account

  • Profile (Settings → Profile): name, title, company name, address and phone numbers, and a photo. The sign-in email is shown but cannot be changed from the profile; ask an Admin to invite the new address and remove the old one.
  • Language: Japanese or English for menus, labels and date formats, per person.
  • Security (Settings → Security): your sign-in method, your two-factor authentication and your activity log. See Security.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a seat limit?

No limit on members. Plans are sized by monthly sessions on your site, not by people in the dashboard.

Which role for our agency or freelancer?

Editor, with an expiry date on the membership. They can change module settings and content but not members, security or billing, and access ends on the date you set.

Can we have more than one Owner?

Yes. Any Owner can make another member an Owner, which is also how ownership moves to someone else.

Can members be imported from a CSV or synced from our directory?

No. Invite by email, up to 50 addresses at a time, or let people auto-join through Google SSO on your company domain.

Where do I see who changed what?

The activity log under Settings records every settings change, member update and sign-in for a year. See Security → Activity log.
